Occasionally you might find that whilst running Caption.Ed your audio crackles. This is normally only when using the browser application, and is normally a sign that your computer is struggling to run too much at once.


We'd recommend you try the following steps:

> Ensure you are running the latest version of Chrome or Edge browsers, and update the software if required.

> Close all applications, web tabs other than the media you wish to view/meeting you are in, and Caption.Ed.

> If crackling is ongoing then please ensure you have a strong internet connection here.

> If crackling persists we'd strongly recommend move to the desktop Caption.Ed application.
