Does Caption.Ed keep my screen awake while recording? 

Yes, Caption.Ed will keep your screen awake while recording sessions, unless you are recording in Safari on an iOS device. 

There are some instances where Caption.Ed will be unable to keep the screen awake; these include:

- The Caption.Ed desktop app is minimised, or is sat in a background unfocused tab

- Your device has a power saving mode enabled or a low battery

- The browser or operating system's security policy blocks it from keeping the device's screen awake
