Configuring Safari on Desktop
When you click on the Record Session button in Safari, you will be presented with a pop-up window asking you to either allow, not allow, or never ask for Safari to use your microphone.

If you choose Allow, this will allow you to choose the microphone you wish to use to dictate in Safari.
This pop-up will appear every time you go to start a new session within the browser.
Once you have allowed access to your microphone, you will then see a red microphone icon in the URL address bar.
Note
If you want to allow TalkType to use your microphone without this pop-up, then when you click on the Red microphone icon, you will be given the option to "Always Allow".
