Caption.Ed's feature allows users to update and change speaker labels both live and post-session, enhancing the accuracy and clarity of transcriptions. This guide will walk you through the process of editing these labels to make your media as accessible as possible.
- Selecting the label: Click directly on the speaker label you wish to change. It will become editable.
- Renaming the label: Click the pencil icon in the top right and enter the correct name in the box to edit your current selection.

- This will open a pop-up where you can make edits to your selected speaker, such as changing the name and changing the colour of the speaker label.

- Once you have made your changes, click update speaker, and your changes will be saved!
You can also unassign speakers using the oval snap icon, or create new speakers by clicking on a speaker label.
